For decades, rare-book dealers have used printed catalogs to inform collectors of their available items. In the internet age, these print catalogs persist -- in fact, have often become things of beauty -- but can also take the form of electronic lists, .pdfs, Google docs, electronic magazines, email newsletters, videos, blog posts, even Instagram and Facebook posts! In order to keep up with the rapidly evolving trade, we try to include all such lists here, in whatever form our members choose to release them.
Browse the latest catalogs, newsletters, e-lists, etc., of rare books, fine bindings, incunabula, print ephemera, and much more from the members of the ABAA below...
Please note, this list is updated weekly, usually on Wednesdays. *New* indicates any catalogs added this week.

The Gentleman's Companion and The South American Gentleman's Companion
by Charles H. Baker
1946, 1951. Signed. Two two-volume sets, each volume inscribed by the author to friends, Dorothy and Wes Pape, and each in the year of publication. Baker's 1946 inscriptions in The Gentleman's Companion refer to a deer hunting trip Baker took with the Papes. Beneath both is another inscription signed "PPB", likely Baker's wife, Pauline Paulsen Baker. Rear endpaper of volume II shows multiple signatures and addresses. The South American Gentleman's Companion are inscribed to Dorothy, this time in Java Head in 1951. Even the inscriptions are evidence of Baker's globetrotting, as he traveled the world collecting exotic food and drink recipes, writing columns for magazines such as Esquire, and Gourmet. Among his notable drinking companions were Ernest Hemingway and William Faulkner.

Helen Churchill Candee (née Hungerford, 1858-1949) was an author, journalist, interior decorator, feminist, travel writer, explorer, geographer, and survivor of the Titanic sinking. She served on many civic boards, was involved in Democratic politics, and had several political friendships, including William Jennings Bryan and First Lady Helen Herron Taft. Candee authored eight books, including her biggest seller The Tapestry Book (1912).
